Event Planning & Organization
SIM (Seismic in Motion) – Devised, planned, organized and presented at these widely recognized geophysical field demonstrations held over a 3 day period in the fall for Industry each year. The demos bring an understanding of geophysical technologies, equipment, services and processes to those who are unable, or unlikely to get such experience, information and knowledge. Always very well attended by Regulators; Industry; the Public; University and SAIT students and also Grade 11 & 12 classes from regional schools.
The Source quarterly magazine, 2006 to 2017 Editor and contributor
Devised and organized the original concept for this industry magazine and have contributed over 60 articles under the title of Rods Corner on a variety of industry topics. Articles can be viewed on-line at the CAGC website www.cagc.ca. Also contributed articles to the CSEG Recorder magazine see below
Alberta & BC Geophysical Conferences for (Government, CAPP & CAGC)
Organized and ran the Conference Golf Tournaments in Red Deer in September and Fort St John in June for 15 years.
